ACCOMPLISH

What I hope to accomplish is that I have explored enough to understand what I’m going to be doing in the future and that I know what roads I’m going to take in order to become a cosmetologist.

I personally liked the short story because it was a fictional story using animals and a women all symbolizing different things and all that just caught my attention. It also had me imaging a picture in my head kind of like this one . Overall i think it's a good story to tell kids to expand there imagination and who knows maybe we are on top of a turtle's back.

Jimmy Santiago Baca’s Poem

I feel like there was many tones to the poem although he stated off negative and ended off negative as well. In different sections he sounded different to me like if he was trying to warn you of life because of what he went through but then went straight back to being negative. I like how he put his experience in the poem but put it in a way that would give a message out and would fit into anyone’s life.
